AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

WRINKLE REDUCTION TREATMENT

For the day of treatment:
Do not lie down for 4 hours 
Do not touch the treated area or apply makeup for 4 hours - the following day is okay
You may shower and wash your face before bed, just use luke-warm water and a gentle cleanser only


For 24-48 hours following treatment:
Do not wear tight fitting hats/caps
Stay out of direct sunlight
Do not exercise (light walk is okay)
Do not use saunas, steam rooms or have hot baths/showers
Wait 72 hours before eyebrow appointments

 

Time required in between other treatments:

Next Wrinkle Reduction Treatment - 3 months

Facial Enhancement Treatment - 2 weeks

Skin Needling (Clinic) - 2 weeks

Laser Treatments - 4 weeks

Medical Facials - 2 weeks

Skin Needling (Home) - 2 weeks

Chemical Skin Peels - 2 weeks

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

FACIAL ENHANCEMENT TREATMENT

             For 48 hours post treatment:

  • Avoid blood thinners

  • Drink plenty of water

  • Avoid smoking

  • Avoid vigorous exercise (a light walk is ok)

  • Avoid makeup and try not to touch the treated area

  • Watch for abnormalities (colour changes, grey, white, blue, purple areas or any painful bruises) - message or call if you are at all concerned and we can review if necessary

  • Avoid anti-inflammatory medications such as aspirin and ibuprofen - paracetamol is recommended for pain

  • Take anti-virals if you are prone to cold sores

Time required in between other treatments:

Wrinkle Reduction Treatment in the same area - 2 weeks

Laser Treatments - 2 weeks

Medical Facials - 2 weeks

Skin Needling (Home) - 2 weeks

Chemical Skin Peels - 2 weeks

Skin Needling Treatment - 2 weeks

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

MEDICAL GRADE SKIN NEEDLING

For 24 hours post treatment:

  • Use Skinfuse Lift provided with clean hands as often as you want

  • Protect treatment area from sun with hat, sunglasses, clothing

  • Do not touch treatment area

  • Do not wash your face or put under shower water

  • ​Avoid exercising or any other activity that will make the skin hot
     

For the next 24 hours:

  • Wash area with mild clean and luke warm water

  • Use Skinfuse rescue calming provided with clean hands morning and night

  • Protect treatment area from sun with hat, sunglasses, clothing


Day 3-7 post treatment:

  • Wash area with mild clean and lukewarm water

  • Use hyaluronic serum, redless then moisturiser morning and night - no other serums, creams, exfoliants or skin treatments

  • Protect treatment area from sun with mineral suncream, still keeping out of sun as much as possible


Day 7+ post treatment Time to go back to your normal routine ENJOY YOUR GLOWY SKIN!

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

CHEMICAL SKIN PEELS

For 24 hours post treatment, avoid:

  • Exercise (getting overheated)

  • Bathing or showering

  • Direct sun exposure

  • You can wash your face after 24 hours with gentle cleanser and apply moisturiser only

  • Application of make-up

For the next 10 days post treatment:

  • Avoid the use of chemical sun protection

  • You may now use your other serums, except active serums/exfoliants (scrubs, AHAs, BHA, Vitamin A/Retinols)

  • Sun exposure (physical sun protection to be used only)

  • Avoid waxing on treated area

​

After 10 days:

You can now go back to your usual skin routine ENJOY YOUR GLOWY SKIN!

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP)

During the first 24–48 hours after treatment:
You will experience redness, swelling and tenderness in the treated areas. These responses are normal and resolve quickly and spontaneously over the next 2-4 days.
You can apply light water-based or mineral makeup where necessary.
Drink plenty of cold water for 48 hours after the procedure.
Bruising at the site of injection is also common and clears completely in 1-10 days.
Please read your aftercare instructions in the aftercare pack provided - there are several things you can do to help bruising. Swelling and bruising can give the appearance of ‘unevenness’ in the area treated. This will settle once the swelling and bruising has gone.

After your Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment you should:
• Avoid alcohol, caffeine, hot drinks and spicy food for 24 hours, as these may exacerbate bruising and swelling.
• Avoid medications such as aspirin or nurofen for 1-2 weeks as they are blood thinning agents and may exacerbate bruising (if these medications have been advised by your GP please check with your GP before stopping them)
• Avoid supplements such as multivitamins, fish oils, glucosamine and Vitamin B or Vitamin E, which are blood thinning agents and may exacerbate bruising for 1-2 weeks (if these supplements have been advised by your GP please check with your GP before stopping them) • Avoid exercise/exertion for 24 hours
• Avoid excess sun exposure or solarium use for 24 hours
• Apply ice frequently as required to the area injected for up to 6 hours after the treatment. This will prevent or help to alleviate any bruising. It will also help to reduce any swelling.
